Work That Makes a Difference: Social Enterprises in Québec City

Social enterprises, cooperatives, and nonprofits play a major role in our region. Interested in enterprises that value humans over profit and create meaningful change?

Join Voice of English-speaking Québec and SEEnet for presentations from CDEC Québec and social entrepreneurs and representatives from the Nos choses ont une deuxième vie online thrift shop; La Coop de Yoga; Les Urbainculteurs; and Materia, centre diffusion en métiers d’art à Québec. A panel discussion and question-and-answer session will follow.

We’ll explore topics including:

  • What are social enterprises? Where are they found in Québec City?
  • How are they effective solutions for community issues?
  • How do I start my own social enterprise?

Moulin des Jésuites, 7960 Boul. Henri-Bourassa
Free event, refreshments provided
Registration required by February 14 via Eventbrite
