SEEnet EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
SEEnet offers a series of on-demand presentations that can be customized to fit your needs. Whether it’s a presentation focused on discovering the social economy, one on how to develop a social-economy component for an existing organization, or one on cooperative business practices, we can work with you to meet your needs.
We also can help with industry-specific knowledge building or assistance in making connections with existing actors in a sector. We can lead site visits to social economy enterprises, and we have a resource library to help you learn more about the social economy.
PROJECT SUPPORT
Along with our partners at the Coopérative de développement régional du Québec (CDRQ), we offer full support at each stage of a project’s development. Each project is different, but SEEnet will generally lead the early stages of the project, and the CDRQ usually comes on board once the first draft of the business plan is being created.
STORYTELLING SUPPORT MICRO-GRANT
We are offering micro-grants of up to $750 to support eligible nonprofit culture and heritage organizations—such as local museums—in compiling and submitting stories to a new province-wide storytelling platform.
ENHANCING SERVICES FOR ENGLISH-SPEAKING CLIENTELE MICRO-GRANT
This microgrant program provides financial support of up to $1,000 to social economy enterprises based in the province of Québec seeking to improve or expand their services to English-speaking residents or visitors.
SUPPORT FOR EXISTING NONPROFITS
Most of SEEnet’s services are free of charge or available at a heavily reduced rate, in collaboration with the Secrétariat aux relations avec les Québécois d’expression anglaise and our partners at the Cooperative de développement régional du Québec.

ASSISTANCE CONNECTING TO QUÉBEC'S SOCIAL ECONOMY ECOSYSTEM
Would you like to get involved with Québec’s thriving social economy ecocsytem? We can help. We are happy to make connections with regional social economy offices to help you access additional knowledge about local support, financing, and initiatives. If you are looking for educational programs for students (primary through university students), the Conseil québécois de la coopération et de la mutualité (CQCM) can help provide knowledge and guidance about developing cooperatives. We can also offer translation from French when it’s needed for social economy-related events, workshops, and materials. For these and other needs, we’ll help you connect to the excellent resources available in Québec’s social economy ecosystem.
