To support the time investment required in creating a social economy enterprise, SEEnet and the Regional Development Network (RDN) offer funding for social economy enterprise projects in the ideation and pre-start-up stages.

RDN will offer up to $1,200 to the organizers of accepted projects working with SEEnet during these stages. The financing will be distributed in two parts:

• The first $600 upon signing of the engagement contract
• The second $600, whichever comes first:
  – A minimum of six months later, depending on sufficient proof of project advancement, with benchmarks determined by SEEnet in consultation with project organizers
  – Transfer of the file to the Coopérative de développement régional du Québec for further support
